As a child Laila was not compelled to colour within the lines, rather she added her own. Subsequently she has made a career of it.
Her work is widely recongised for expressive nature, vivid colour and movement, whether seen in her many forms of artworks, her teaching or writing.
Like Squecco and his friends, she too has experienced chemical intolerance’s. So she had much to chat about with the characters as her pencil drafted the images of their stories and she filled their world with a rainbow of colors.
